Diane Parish is a British Actress who, in 2006, returned to EastEnders (BBC, Drama) as Denise Fox. She’s continued to portray this role today, gaining her many nominations for multiple awards. Throughout her career, Diane has been actively involved in philanthropy and charity work and supports various causes related to social issues and the arts.

Background (Before 2002)
Born as Diane Carol Richards in Chelsea, London, Diane graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and has worked mainly in theatre. Diane played Cordelia in Talawa Theatre Company’s 1994 production of King Lear. She has appeared in several TV shows, including the ITV dramas The Bill and M.I.T.: Murder Investigation Team.
Diane also appeared in two series of the BBC One comedy drama Lovejoy and in the soap opera EastEnders as Lola Christie, the girlfriend of Mick McFarlane, the manager of the EastEnders night cafe, in 1998. Diane’s performance as Lesley Bailey in the BBC Two programme Babyfather won her the Royal Television Society’s Best Actress Award in 2001, making her the first black actor in the UK to win an RTS award.
