Angela Griffin is a British Actress, Television Presenter and Director who went on to star in various TV shows such as Postman Pat, Waterloo Road, 2001’s Waking the Dead, 2002’s Cutting It and 2024’s The Wives, as well as several films including 2008’s Chance Harvey, the 2021 television film Help and 2022’s Your Christmas or Mine?, alongside its 2023 sequel.
From 2009 to 2010, she presented the Sky One daytime show Angela and Friends. In August 2021, she hosted BBC Radio 2’s Unwinds, which she still presents. In 2019, she returned to Coronation Street. She has also been an anti-SIDS campaigner and previously worked with the UK charity Lullaby Trust, which focuses on reducing infant deaths.

Angela Griffin is a British actress, television presenter, radio host, voiceover artist and director who has been active throughout British television since the 1990s. Born in Leeds to an English mother and a Caribbean father from Saint Kitts and Nevis, she attended college to study an A-Level in Psychology. Angela began acting on the popular British soap operas Emmerdale and Coronation Street.
Angela is also an original cast member of the long-running British medical drama Holby City and left in 2001. That same year, she presented Brown Britain on Channel 4, about mixed-race people in British society. The show included discussions with many British mixed-race people, including Bruce Oldfield and Hanif Kureishi, and interviewed political figures such as Tony Benn.
