Clacton By-Election July 2026
During the Clacton By-Election in July 2026, international and domestic media showed phenomenal interest in a comedian known as Count Binface standing as a candidate to become a Member of Parliament representing Clacton-on-Sea. The publicity could help this constituency become a tourist destination, helping to counter the region’s growing poverty.
We added to this to create more publicity by celebrating democracy in all its diversity, with our own theme song called “Make it Count” —highlighting the unique freedom for anyone to stand for election, the right to express different ideas and perspectives, and Britain’s long-standing tradition of embracing our diverse community and the many eccentric characters like Lord Bath and Vivienne Westwood who add colour and humour to our everyday lives.
The music video uses Count Binface as a symbol to celebrate Clacton’s unique historical characteristics by highlighting this community’s ability to participate in this unique democratic process beyond the norm; we helped encourage further media attention to this unique town through Social Media to help to attract visitors for greater tourism and support the local economy through wider publicity, as this music video celebrates the British tradition of having eccentric characters like Count Binface, as uploaded under our Mr Multicultural TV Channel.
